I have only used them once, for issues with my kitchen sink. It turns out that the previous owner who had all the pipes redone in my house forgot to have a vent installed under the kitchen sink. Pierpoint had to contact me to make sure they had my address correct and contacted me three different ways to make SURE they reached me. I appreciate that. They sent me and my girlfriend a text message with when they left and a picture of the plumber (Great to know who you are looking for) They explained to my girlfriend what was recommended with the sink and why, along with calling me to rehash and confirm the price and the next service date. The billing is transparent and itemized. If you have a question, you can call and check with the office. Everyone I have spoken to wants to get their job done and done well. I will happily contact them again for their services.

The folks at Pierpoint Plumbing were fairly exceptional. Their team was quick to respond for the estimates and even quicker to dispatch a team for the work that they performed. I appreciate that there was no attempt to upsell the work and the proposed solutions were common sense approaches compared to the inflated bid solutions of their competitors. Their integrity is commendable for the industry. For example, they realized they had overestimated the work due to a typo and within 24 hours had reached out to edit the bid to 100$ less than the original quote after I had agreed to the original amount. It would have been just as easy for them to take the money and run and I would have never known the difference. That level of honesty is tough to find these days from any contractors. They will be my go to for plumbing solutions moving forward and I cannot recommend them enough.

Twice this company came out and misdiagnosed plumbing issues, and estimated thousands In necessary repairs. One cost 45 cent washer to fix. The other was simply a blockage in pipe - Pierpoint said the basement had to be jack hammered. I sought another plumber who fixed these issues without a challenge. Then Pierpoint called and asked why we didn’t pay their invoice when the work was never done. Call Mr l. Plumber if you actually want trustworthy workmanship. The owner wants to deny they were even at my job until I sent their invoice. He makes the excuse for having inadequate and untrained staff. Then when he sees the proof he makes claims I reacted poorly because he said we should cut ties with me as a customer. Unfortunately he obviously talks more than listens, and has excuses before solutions. What he doesn’t seem to understand is we stopped using his company a year ago (on dozens of properties) because of the bad workmanship. They can’t even snake a drain correctly and failed to identify BASIC plumbing issues. Don’t waste your time with these hacks.

We had a copper pipe burst in our basement on a Saturday afternoon (pipe freeze). Pierpoint Plumbing in Kansas City, MO promptly returned our call the same day and offered to repair it early Sunday morning. Plumber was very personable, did a great job and also provided valuable advice to improve our installation in the future. Work done included burst copper pipe replacement, replacement of outside faucets with new freeze-less anti-siphon faucets, installation of ball valve, and easy drain valve indoors in the basement. Charged a competitive amount . We warmly recommend Pierpoint Plumbing Company and will gladly hire them again in the future.

**Update: Pierpoint reached out and apologized for the mishap and made it right with me. Updating score to reflect my satisfaction, appreciate the transparency and such.** I had Pierpoint come out and give me a quote for three issues, needed a new outdoor spigot, pressure release valve, and a water shut off in the crawl space. Quote went fine, I called a week or so later to schedule someone to come out. Day of my appointment, guy shows up and asks what we're doing. Tell him about the three issues above, says he doesn't have a spigot on hand and will need to run to the store. He's gone for an hour, not the end of the world but comes back and gets to it. He comes and gets me when he's done, tells me about how a pipe in my crawlspace is disconnected and someone will reach out to give me a quote since that's not his job, I pay and he leaves. I decide to check on the water shut off as I was about to go on vacation and turns out they didn't install the shut off, only the pressure release valve. I call back and ask if they can come back out and install the shut off as well as give me the quote for the disconnected pipe. Lady on the phone is nice and says they'll have the same guy come out and install it and have the quote guy come at the same time. Next day, guy does show up and fix the issue but the guy who was supposed to give me a quote for the disconnected pipe never shows up. No explanation or reschedule either. Ended up calling someone else (John from Superior Plumbing KC) who came out day-of and fixed the pipe in less than 30 minutes, so I'm not really sure why Pierpoint needed to have another person come out and give me a quote when it was an easy fix. Overall they did what I paid them to do, but communication was poor and I'm not a fan of how they seemingly were fine with letting my pipe stay disconnected down there dumping water/waste.
